Filter Facebook posts with a comma-separated list of words and phrases. Click the icon to the right of the address bar and enter a comma-separated list of words (or phrases) you would like to hide from Facebook timelines. Posts containing these words and phrases (on your timeline, group timelines and page timelines) will be hidden until you either clear the keywords or change the list. PLEASE NOTE: Take care setting these values because posts will be hidden if they contain words which contain these words. For example, if you list ‘cat’, posts with the words ‘catch’, ‘catastrophe’ etc will also be excluded. Add exclusions to allow posts through even if they contain one of your keywords. For example, you might want to set up a filter on kittens but allow posts from The Onion or The Daily Show which mention kittens. The list of keywords and exclusions is saved in Chrome and sync’ed across sessions so that it will be available wherever you’re running Chrome. If you have Facebook loaded in Chrome, please refresh the page after installing this extension.
