PicPick gives you the tools to take screenshots quickly and then edit them to suit a variety of purposes, all through the same convenient interface. There are quite a few options included in this program for both taking and editing screenshots, making it a good option for all kinds of users.

PROS

Screenshot options: No matter what type of screenshot you want to take, this app has you covered. Just select from a list that includes Full Screen, Window Control, Scrolling Window, Region, Fixed Region, and Freehand. And there is also a quick option for repeating the last capture.

Graphic tools: There is a complete suite of graphic editing features included in this app. You can choose from an array of tools like a Color Picker, which lets you pick a color on the screen and then use it in your image, a Magnifier, a Pixel Ruler, a WhiteBoard, and more to create the perfect shot to convey your message.

CONS

Awkward access: The initial interface you see when you open the app is attractive and accessible. But once you’ve made a selection from there, it’s tough to get back to. If you access the program later from the System Tray, you’ll have to go through several menus to get back to the main interface, which seems overly complicated.

BOTTOM LINE

PicPick is a excellent option if you often use screenshots in your work for just about any purpose. Once you get the hang of accessing the parts of the program you want and use most, it’s a convenient and quick solution. You can try it for free, and the full version costs $21.99.
