QR Photo DVD Slideshow

QR Photo DVD Slideshow helps you create slideshows out of your photos that include fun effects and music, and then burn them to a DVD. Sort through your photos to choose the best ones, and then add the finishing touches to a slideshow to preserve and share the memory of the event.

The first time you open QR Photo DVD Slideshow, some tips pop up to help you make the most of the app. These tips aren’t terribly helpful, though, and neither is the actual Help file, as it mostly lists features and doesn’t actually tell you how to use them. But since the interface is relatively streamlined and there aren’t too many features, it’s not too hard to figure out how to use this program on your own, even if you don’t have a lot of experience with this type of software. The interface features tabs across the top of the window to let you access various areas of the program. There are also some sample pictures included with the app, so you can experiment with the features without using your own photos. Once you’ve imported and selected your photos, you can add transition effects, select music to play in the background, and preview your slideshow. And when your project is exactly the way you want it, you can burn it to a DVD.

Options for creating the DVD include choosing the country and TV system you’d like the DVD to play on, as well as setting the aspect ratio at either 4:3 or 16:9. You can also loop the audio to repeat over and over as the photos display, and choose your optimal time for photos to display and for the transition between the photos. While there might not be many features in this program that you can’t find in other places, it’s free and it works well, so it’s worth trying out.
