Text Edit is designed to edit small text files including a spelling check facility which can be adjusted for all languages using the ASCII based character set. There is also a translator function which enables a word for word translation of text no attempt is made with grammar or meaning interpretation. A dictionary may be derived from the currently loaded text or from a file. New blank dictionaries may be set up and words added from texts with known correct spellings. Features include open, save, clear screen, check spelling, current dictionary, change current dictionary file path, create new blank dictionary, add current text to current database, check current dictionary, translate, and window state.
