If you need to do a complex renaming operation, multiple rules can be combined together to perform a single file renaming operation. There are five (5) simple rule that you can use:

  • Convert CaseConvert file name to upper case , lower case, or title (proper) case
  • Find and Replace 

    Search for word and replace it with other. You can also use a regular expression syntax for a complex find and replace task.

  • Insert Text and NumberAdd text and number to a certain position in file name. When available, meta data (shooting date and time, camera mode, etc.) can be automatically inserted to file name. There are three insert mode that can be used: normal, overwrite, replace.
  • Remove Characters (text)Remove characters (text) at a certain position in file name. The remove operation can be performed forward or backward.
  • Remove NumberRemove number at a certain position in file name. The remove operation can be performed forward or backward.
  • Remove Empty SpaceRemove empty space from file name.
