Xilisoft Download YouTube Video is a download manager for downloading your favorite videos on YouTube in FLV format. With this program you will be able to view those videos on your PC without going online.

There are not that many features to this YouTube video download manager. The steps are very simple. Search for a video or insert the URL if you already know it, view the video to make sure it is the one you want, and then start a New Download. The download time varies for each video, depending on how long it is. A 3-minute video will only take about a minute, so it is pretty fast. There is only one format option (FLV) for this download manager, however. Not everyone has a player that will support FLV, but if you do and you don’t want any other format type, then this is a good download for you. Being able to search for the videos is a convenient feature, and being able to view the videos to make sure you’re getting the right one is nice as well. There’s a Help page available and it actually is helpful if you’re not sure how to start. Overall, simple but good.

The download and installation process was simple. You should expect the usual “Accept Terms” and other steps to install this. It didn’t require anything to be closed in order for it to finish. You can launch the program immediately with no issues or need for a reboot.
